Responsibilities

Direct month-end close activities—including journal entries, accruals, and intercompany cost transfers, while ensuring strict adherence to SOX requirements and internal controls

Maintain amortization schedules, production cost tracking, and P&L updates

Own the monthly overhead forecast and headcount reporting, overseeing detailed variance analysis across payroll, T&E, and corporate allocations; Support planning function for annual budgets, and long range plans

Manage liquidity planning through overhead cash forecasting, international cash sweeps, and the oversight of royalty payments and affiliate revenue reconciliations

Contribute to various ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting

4-5 years of relevant work experience (technical finance and accounting) within Entertainment/Media industry - Month-end close ownership, Journal entries, accruals, amortization, P&L maintenance tied to production or content costs, SOX-controlled environments, Entertainment or media cost structures (production, royalties, overhead) industry experience

Proficiency in MS Office Suite required; Strong Excel beyond just modeling (recons, schedules, roll-forwards)

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
