Responsibilities

Build your own commercial loan portfolio by prospecting for new healthcare business with a focus on transaction sizes of $10MM to $50MM and up

Lead underwriting workstreams for healthcare loans, including assistance with building financial models; assessing reimbursement and regulatory risk, coverage metrics, sponsor capability, and overall bank fit

Engage and lead other team members to determine what other products and services the client might benefit from

Collaborate with commercial clients to better understand their business and financial needs

Analyze the business to qualify clients for bank products and services

Opportunities to mentor less experienced Commercial Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers as the team grows

Required

A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education & experience

8-10+ years of experience in commercial lending, including 5+ years of experience in healthcare banking/lending, including success in a sales role

Knowledge of and experience with one or more of the following healthcare real estate, cash flow/leveraged lending to healthcare operators, and healthcare asset-based lending

Knowledge of credit, bank products, services, underwriting, bank operations and healthcare industry drivers & related regulatory/reimbursement environments

A curiosity about how healthcare companies work and what helps them remain successful in their respective industries

Excitement about providing a meaningful impact to an early-stage platform
