Work independently and in a team while over-communicating with the manager and the teammates
Use educational background, experience and reasoning skills to plan, collect and analyze data/information and communicate the process and the results for assigned tasks

Required

A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Physics, or a related field
Basic understanding of material properties, components, mechanisms, fabrication methods
Basic understanding of structural, heat and mass transfer theory
Basic knowledge of mechanical CAD software and quantitative analysis/programming tools and hands-on experience with basic machine shop tools
Basic knowledge of optical concepts such as polarization, refraction, diffraction, lensing
Basic knowledge of simple software scripting tools such as Matlab, or Python
