Titus Talent Strategies is partnering with a multi-disciplined architecture and design firm to find a new Director of QA/QC. This role provides strategic leadership over quality assurance and quality control processes for commercial projects, ensuring documentation meets high standards and advancing the QA/QC program across teams.

Responsibilities

Establishes and evolves a comprehensive QA/QC program for all commercial projects

Develops and maintains firm-wide quality control standards, workflows, and best practices

Provides direction on compliance with codes, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations

Reviews and approves design and construction documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project requirements

Conducts regular quality audits of project documentation and processes

Oversees resolution of quality issues in collaboration with project teams and clients

Leads, mentors, and grows the QA/QC team, setting expectations for performance and accountability

Trains and develops staff with a focus on technical excellence and continuous improvement

Promotes a culture of quality across the firm

Partners with project managers, architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure QA/QC standards are integrated from concept through construction

Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies

Represent QA/QC at client presentations, project reviews, and industry forums

Monitors industry trends, tools, and best practices to enhance the QA/QC program

Identifies opportunities to streamline processes and improve documentation accuracy

Ensures lessons learned from projects are captured and integrated into future workflows

Performs other duties as assigned

Required

20+ years of experience with a focus on quality assurance, quality control, and technical excellence in commercial projects

Licensed Architect Bachelor's degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited institution

Extensive knowledge of architecture practices with emphasis on construction documents, building codes, materials, methods, and integration of engineering principles

Proven leadership experience developing and managing QA/QC teams

Strong communication and collaboration skills across internal teams, clients, and regulatory agencies

Demonstrated ability to set firm-wide standards
