OneBlood is an organization focused on blood donation and recruitment. They are seeking a Telerecruiter to contact eligible blood donors and set up donation appointments while providing excellent customer service and maintaining donor information.

Responsibilities

Contacts eligible blood donors by telephone and other approved communication methods from previously developed lists to setup a donation appointment

By telephone and other approved communication methods (emails, text, flyers), contacts eligible blood donors and recruits them to donate regularly

Provides excellent customer service at all times; establishes rapport with donors and potential donors, and educates them on the organization’s programs and services

Enters donor information into the electronic database and utilizes various methods for appointment reminders

Complies with and maintains current knowledge and understanding of Donor Recruitment policies, procedures and other related regulations

Assists in stabilizing and maintaining blood donation inventory levels

Required

High School diploma or equivalent

Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, and comfortable speaking with donors on the phone

Ability to meet pre-defined monthly metrics related to outreach calls, appointments confirmed, booking accuracy, and show rates; eligible to earn a monthly incentive award based upon goal achievements

Ability to follow oral and written instructions

Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work

Ability to speak, write, read, and understand English

Skill in operating office equipment

Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and database software navigation
