Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, test, support, maintain, and debug software applications that support business units or functions
Work closely with other engineers and teams to ensure stable, quality deliveries
Provide strategic technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives
Create prototypes to prove design concepts and prepare UML diagrams to describe application states
Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including analysis, technical design, development, testing, and deployment
Identify and mitigate risks associated with software development and testing
Recommend technological innovations that enhance the organization's competitive advantage
Estimate effort for software applications and coordinate with external programming teams to deliver software on time and within budget
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 5-6 years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development
Proficiency in developing RESTful services using Spring Framework and Spring Boot
Experience with Apache Kafka for online data publishing and consuming
