Responsibilities

Performs tasks associated with gathering, analyzing, and documentation of data assets and data points

Assist in the production of dashboards and reports for the data as instructed

Assist with identification and triage of security incidents

Assist with identification of software security patches, vulnerabilities, and threats

Assist with ensuring documentation on incidents or requests for support is timely and accurate through our issues tracking application

Assist in managing system access through various toolsets, as required

Gain an understanding of existing business processes and systems

Assist in the integration of data from multiple sources to draw conclusions regarding Entergy’s security posture

Competently interface with other groups and Business Units

Other duties as assigned

Required

Candidates must be actively pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree in Cyber Security

Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher is required (on a 4.0 scale)

Self-driven, self-motivated

Basic understanding of cybersecurity and attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures

Basic understanding of security domains including risk management, security operations, security architecture, infrastructure security, access management and cloud security

Scripting/automation capabilities and data analytics capabilities a plus

Demonstration of knowledge via security compliance related internships, classes or projects
