Responsibilities

The main objective for the intern is to become familiar with the underground hydrocarbon storage in both reservoirs and caverns
Assist with technical expertise and guidance to Operations, Engineering, Commercial and Legal for the design, implementation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of the Company’s underground hydrocarbon storage assets
Assist with various regulatory filings as required
Participate in new underground hydrocarbon storage facility design and commissioning
Assist in the preparation of designs for facility modifications and incorporation of new equipment

Required

Enrolled in an undergraduate in Petroleum Engineering or other engineering degree with adequate petroleum engineering experience
General requirements include self-motivated individuals, involvement in activities outside college studies
Above average GPA

Preferred

Proficiency with MS Office
Must possess a strong willingness to learn
Willing to travel
Excellent attention to details
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to adapt well to rapidly changing priorities and responsibilities
Ability to organize, perform and prioritize various functions in a fast paced environment
Must be a team player, and able to work effectively with a diverse workforce and with various levels within the organization
