Responsibilities

Lead a regional team of hotel professionals at all levels to achieve revenue growth and corporate, guest, franchisee, and employee satisfaction goals
Direct and support operations by enforcing and implementing development standards, fostering owner relations, and taking effective action to optimize the quality and performance of the portfolio
Interview, select, train, and coach associates, ensuring performance aligns with brand standards and HHM Hotels core values
Maintain a culture of honesty, communication, and personal growth while building collaborative relationships
Set and maintain protocols and standards, holding the team accountable to ensure productivity and professionalism consistent with HHM’s reputation
Achieve profit, sales, and market share goals by developing and implementing strategic regional plans and individual property initiatives
Communicate and reinforce the vision, values, and identities of the respective brands to hotels and the team
Analyze hotel performance indicators and trends to develop targeted, measurable strategic plans for improvement
Oversee plan execution by effectively utilizing field teams and central resources to drive business results
Build strong owner and management company relationships to influence active engagement in performance plans and revenue growth
Foster open communication with owners and operators, effectively managing disagreements to drive optimal results
Take corrective actions as necessary to reinforce brand standards and recognize representative hotel performance to foster teamwork
Contribute to the development of operating concepts, processes, and guidelines for the hotel portfolio
Participate in the development of corporate strategies to support customer service, brand identity, and revenue goals
Analyze hotel performance data to develop and implement plans that improve guest services and loyalty
Ensure hotels operate in compliance with legal obligations and follow sustainability practices

Required

Extensive hospitality operations experience leading to a regional director or higher level leadership role
Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to communicate effectively at the C-suite level
Experience with hotel management companies overseeing a portfolio of full-service, select-service, and lifestyle hotels (branded or independent)
Ability to interact with and present to a variety of stakeholders, including hotel associates, owners, and boards of directors
Frequent regional travel is required to support the portfolio
Work extended hours and remain readily available to hotel and corporate leaders as needed
