Responsibilities

Maintain an organized warehouse by ensuring efficient material storage, timely location changes, and accurate receipt and shipment of goods

Oversee shipment requirements and expedite orders to support high on-time delivery rates and strong customer service

Schedule and monitor daily work activities to ensure timely and accurate completion

Review manufacturing orders upon receipt to verify materials are issued and operations are completed as required

Train, develop, and manage employee performance within the department

Control costs by minimizing overtime, material waste, and scrap, while optimizing efficiency and utilization

Prepare shipping quotes for equipment and parts orders received by the assigned location

Ensure a safe, secure work environment by establishing, communicating, and enforcing warehouse standards

Manage logistics for all incoming and outgoing shipments

Maintain inventory of packaging supplies and ensure proper inspection records for all parts shipments in compliance with regulations
