Key Account Manager

The role involves overseeing operational distribution and sales execution for retail partners, driving launches, promotions, and assortments to achieve sales and profitability goals.

Responsibilities

Proactively contact buyers through outgoing calls and emails; actively sell and support Loungefly product categories and collections
Analyze POS, inventory, and industry trends to recommend Loungefly assortments tailored to each retail partner
Understand and leverage the S&OP process to drive customer-focused sales and maintain a healthy Loungefly product mix
Utilize sales and inventory reports to identify licenses, styles, and collections to present to customers
Identify opportunities to cross-sell Loungefly products and collaborate with broader Funko teams where applicable
Coordinate with the marketing team on retail-level programs, launches, and promotional initiatives specific to Loungefly
Identify and grow opportunities with key accounts and collaborate with Sales Management to ensure strategic growth plans are achieved
Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on Loungefly product lines, licenses, and fashion trends
Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction, resulting in increased productivity and achievement of quarterly goals
Prepare quarterly and annual sales forecasts for assigned Loungefly accounts to ensure appropriate inventory levels
Create and deliver presentations tailored to customers’ long-term business needs and category strategies
Consistently meet or exceed quota and revenue targets
Maintain strong account relationships and respond to customer needs within required deadlines

Required

2-4 years' experience in a Sales or Account Management role, preferably for a consumer product company selling direct to large, national retailers
Proficient in retailer proprietary systems
Knowledge of collectible/toy/CPG industry and customer trends
Out of the box thinker; creative and strategic mindset
Understanding of PowerBI
Proven account management or other relevant sales experience
Understanding of S&OP process to drive customer focused sales and build healthy product mix
History of successful conflict-resolution and de-escalation of issues with customers
Project-oriented, pro-active, creative and self-motivated work style
Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects amid changing priorities in a fast-paced environment while consistently delivering superior results within given deadlines
Exceptional organization and time management skills
Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to provide reports to management on customer's needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
Proficiency with MS Office Suite

Preferred

Degree from accredited college or technical school preferred
Experience with ERP or CRM systems preferred (MS Dynamics NAV)
