Responsibilities
Build and test power supply demo boards with very fine pitch (BGA,LGA) electronic parts
Assemble intricate electromechanical assemblies that involve PCB assemblies, heatsink, thermal interfaces, cold plates and coolers
Use laboratory equipment to prepare the set up and perform validation testing of power modules
Create test reports, verification reports, and eval board user guides
Design and develop custom test fixtures and cable harnesses required for testing
Work with GUI interfaces and update config files into the controllers
Maintain Purchase Orders, order components, build demo board kits, and coordinate assembly working with our contract manufacturers. Keep track of the boards and the components
Manage and maintain lab equipment, resources, and their calibration
Qualification
Required
BSEE or Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology or Engineering
Adept in assembling fine pitch SMT components on large, dense, and complex boards
Good experience in using lab equipment including Oscilloscope, Function Generator, Network Analyzer, power supplies, electronic loads, and multimeters
Good knowledge of passive, active components, and simple analog/digital circuits
Ability to work in a dynamic product development environment and manage multiple priorities
Self-learning, self-disciplined, well organized, and effective in collaborative multidisciplinary teams
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting
Preferred
Familiarity with Schematic capture and PCB layout software is a plus
Experience with programming languages such as python, C#/C++ is a plus
