Responsibilities
Install, program, cable, and test low-voltage and physical security equipment including access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues across multiple security platforms
Install connectors, Cat6 cabling, door strikes, magnetic locks, panels, power supplies, and related mechanical components
Follow specifications, schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to ensure flawless installation and operation
Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed
Perform service inspections and respond to system issues as needed
Collaborate with team members and provide excellent customer service on every project
Qualification
Required
Class D Low Voltage/Electrical License
Working knowledge of security equipment, mounting techniques, cabling, programming, and testing
Ability to pull wire in commercial buildings and municipal environments; experience with conduit bending/installation
Strong customer service focus and the ability to work independently
Valid driver's license; clean driving and criminal record; ability to pass CORI/background checks
High school diploma and relevant electronics or technical training
Preferred
2+ years of field experience with access control, video surveillance, or intrusion systems
Experience or certifications with platforms such as Honeywell, HID, Napco, Bosch, GE (Interlogix), AXIS, Exacqvision, Milestone, Uniview, Software House, Keyscan, Avigilon, Kantech, Brivo
