In this role, you will lead the development and execution of a robust compliance program, ensuring operations adhere to regulatory standards and internal SOPs while mitigating risks and conducting audits.

Responsibilities
Design, structure, and implement a comprehensive compliance program, including policies, procedures, and controls to meet federal, state, and industry regulations
Conduct regular internal audits of processes to identify gaps, ensure accuracy, and recommend improvements for efficiency and risk reduction
Develop and deliver training programs for claims and policy services teams, including workshops, e-learning modules, and ongoing education on compliance best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as legal, operations, and IT to integrate compliance into daily workflows and address issues proactively
Monitor regulatory changes in the insurance landscape and update the compliance framework, including reporting key metrics to senior leadership
Lead investigations into compliance-related incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing audit findings and training feedback to refine program effectiveness
Qualification
Required
Degree in Business, Risk Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
10+ years of relevant experience in the insurance industry, with a proven track record in program development, audits, and training
In-depth knowledge of insurance regulations, claims handling, policy servicing, and compliance frameworks
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into actionable strategies
Excellent organization, communication, and training facilitation skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, innovative setting with a proactive mindset for problem-solving
Preferred
Familiarity with data analytics or AI-driven tools for compliance monitoring is advantageous
