Senior Associate (Mergers & Acquisitions)
SAX Advisory Group, LLC is a forward-thinking multi-disciplinary accounting, tax, and advisory firm. They are seeking a Senior Associate specializing in Operations Diligence & Integration to join their Mergers and Acquisitions team, focusing on post-merger integration planning and execution for accounting and wealth-management acquisitions.

Responsibilities
Post-merger integration planning – Co-design Day-1, 30-day, and 100-day plans; refresh existing integration playbooks for accounting and wealth-management targets
Diligence & integration tool ownership – Configure and maintain the platform that houses diligence checklists, work-streams, owners, automated reminders, and dashboards
Synergy tracking – Develop synergy tracking and reporting tools
Progress tracking & reporting – Build project trackers, status dashboards, and board-ready updates on milestone completion, synergy capture, and emerging risks
Research – Provide competitive and market research to support target identification, synergy hypotheses, and continuous improvement of integration practices
People & change management – Coordinate comms, training, and performance-management timelines across Finance, HR, IT, and client-facing teams to keep business disruption minimal
Internal process improvement – Identify opportunities and assist in implementation of internal process improvements related to M&A and/or day to day operations
Compliance support – Assist Legal/Risk in preparing required filings, policy updates, and audit documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Finance, Business, Economics, or related
3-5 years of accounting and wealth-management operations experience and meaningful M&A exposure (diligence or integration)
Demonstrated ability to pick up new technologies quickly and weave AI/automation into workflows; power-user in Excel/PowerPoint and comfortable adopting modern PM/BI tools
Clear, concise communicator able to extract data from quiet functions and defend it in front of leadership
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.; willing to travel up to 50%
