Service Technician II
Seneca Gaming Corporation is seeking a Service Technician II responsible for the repair and maintenance of casino and hotel facilities. The role involves conducting inspections, performing repairs on electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, and ensuring safety and cleanliness in the environment.

Responsibilities
Coordinate and assist in maintaining and cleaning of the building grounds such as sweeping lots, removing snow, mowing grass and watering the shrubbery and grass
Repair and maintain physical structures of the casino
Replace defective electrical switches and other lighting equipment as needed
Troubleshoot electrical problems and repairs
Repair or replace locks as needed and repairs or replaces mechanical equipment in building as needed
Repair and replace plumbing fixtures as necessary
Determine problems with heating and air conditioning system and initiate appropriate action
Perform routine maintenance tasks at the casino daily
Coordinate and assist in keeping public areas in and around the facilities free of litter and debris (meaning parking lot and outside main entrance)
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on facilities equipment
Responsible for the safety and security of personnel within the facilities for ensuring safety devices are in good proper working order
Must be able to work independently without direct supervision
Performs duties in Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing and Appliance repair as directed
Maintain a current understanding of all policy and guidelines regarding information security including the Seneca Gaming Corporation Acceptable Use Policy. Understand and comply with all information security policies and procedures at all times
Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicate in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times. Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors, managers and staff
Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies
Must complete all required SGC Training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment
Attend all necessary meetings
Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule
Qualification
Required
Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment
High school diploma or its equivalency required
Four (4) years' experience in the technical fields of carpentry, electrical, plumbing and heating/air conditioning
Qualified to make repairs in a building environment
Ability to initiate and complete work orders
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to substantiate a safe driving record within the parameters acceptable to our liability insurance carrier
Must possess excellent communication skills
Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers
Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees
Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino/hotel
Must be able to work with standard tools of the trade
Must be able to work in all weather conditions
Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations
