Steel Tool & Engineering Co. is a company that builds precision aerospace components for turbine engines. They are seeking an Aerospace Turbine Component Fabrication Technician who will handle various tasks including operating presses, performing sheet metal fabrication, and inspecting completed parts to ensure they meet specifications.

Responsibilities

Run and care for presses to stamp, form, and shape metal parts to tight tolerances

Perform precise sheet metal fabrication—cutting, bending, and finishing to print

Set up and execute saw cutting to prepare materials for downstream operations

Operate EDM machining processes to produce intricate, precision features

Assemble components, ensuring correct fit, alignment, and quality throughout

Inspect completed parts to meet industry and customer specifications

Maintain a safe, organized workstation and follow all safety procedures

Required

Hands-on background with press operations, sheet metal work, saw cutting, and EDM machining

Comfort reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications

Strong attention to detail and quality in precision machining environments

Mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving on the production floor

Safety-first mindset and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing setting

Team-oriented approach with the ability to collaborate across projects

Ability to read micrometers, gauges and calipers

Preferred

Proficiencies: GD&T, Troubleshooting Skills, CNC Machine Installation
