Supports the administration of the Alternative Teacher Certification program by assisting the Program Director with program operations, compliance, and candidate support
Recruits, trains, supervises, and certifies teacher candidates
Serving as a Field Supervisor as needed to ensure successful program completion and instructional effectiveness
Receives general direction from the Program Director of Alternative Teacher Certification and exercises no supervision
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university
More than three years of professional experience in an educational environment
current Texas teacher certification
Preferred
Masters Degree from an accredited college or university
One year of experience in a Texas Independent School District as a campus administrator
current T-TESS certification
