Sr Strategic Account Manager
Intek Plastics is seeking a Sr. Strategic Account Manager to own and expand a portfolio of highly strategic OEM accounts. The role involves developing comprehensive account strategies, leading commercial engagements, and collaborating across functions to deliver high-value solutions.
Responsibilities
Own executive-level relationships within a portfolio of large, strategic OEM accounts
Develop and execute multi-year strategic account plans to drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and market share
Identify and lead opportunities to expand share-of-wallet through new programs, products, and value-added services
Serve as the voice of the customer internally, aligning Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Leadership around customer priorities
Lead complex commercial negotiations and long-term agreements that support mutual growth
Monitor account performance using data-driven insights and adjust strategy to maximize results
Track market dynamics, competitive activity, and industry trends to inform strategic decisions
Maintain disciplined CRM reporting and forecasting accuracy
Qualification
Required
8–10 years of progressive sales leadership experience supporting OEM customers
Proven ability to operate at the executive level with a consultative, value-based selling approach
Strong commercial acumen with experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
Highly analytical, results-oriented, and customer-focused
Ability to travel up to 50%
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline
Experience in plastics processing or custom-engineered products
Demonstrated project management capability; certification a plus
