Responsibilities

Candidate will support advanced technology radar programs including development of radar signal processors, radar tracking algorithms, advanced sensors in EW environments; simulation of radar systems; field-testing of RF sensors and systems; in addition to the deployment of advanced sensor systems
In this role you will work closely with other skilled engineers as they deep-dive into existing algorithms to find areas for improvement in both performance and processing latency
You will find newer algorithms available in literature to investigate and determine if they can provide improvements to the various radar programs

Required

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited school with a strong demonstration of the skills listed below will also be considered
4-8 years of experience in radar algorithm development and/or radar analysis
Experience or be willing to lead a team of engineers in solving difficult radar algorithm problems, peer reviewing new algorithms developed internally or obtained from industry, overseeing tasking, and other team lead activities
Must have excellent teamwork skills and possess and show good fundamentals in the following: Digital signal processing, Tracker algorithms, MATLAB, Radar Simulation and Modeling
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama, AL, area
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance

Preferred

Experience with radar simulation along with a strong background in statistics and probability
Electromagnetics
Modern C++ development
Familiarity with Linux
