ERP System Specialist - Junior Level

Newrest is seeking an ERP System Specialist to oversee the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of their ERP system. The role involves coordinating with the operations team and clients to ensure system functionality and data accuracy, while also providing training and support to users.

Responsibilities

Lead the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the ERP system (Winrest, which is proprietary to Newrest) in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for ERP system enhancements or modifications
Perform system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance
Conduct regular system audits to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains within the ERP system
Collaborate with end-users to provide training, support, and guidance on ERP system functionalities and best practices
Generate reports, dashboards, and data analysis to support decision-making processes across departments
Clean and prepare data to ensure information is accurate and updated
Identify and report risks to any of the internal departments and/or customer
Take lead in pre-development tasks, such as gathering information, exploring and comparing options, and deciding the direction of a project or request
Import customer files (eg, EP7, TP006, LP Carts)
Enhance communication and build teamwork across the organization
Provide feedback and support to team members
Assist in creating user guides where necessary
Regular and timely attendance is expected for the position
Perform other duties as assigned

ERP System Knowledge: Understanding of ERP systems in general. Proficiency in system configuration, modules, functionalities, and workflows
Business Process Understanding: Good understanding of business processes across various departments within an organization, including costing concepts, inventory processes, and operational processes and flow. The ability to align technical solutions within the ERP system to meet business needs
Analytical Skills: Capacity to analyze data sets, identify trends, and derive actionable insights. Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to extract meaningful information from ERP systems
Problem-Solving Abilities: Aptitude to troubleshoot system issues, debug errors, and find solutions to optimize system performance. Proactive identification of potential issues before they impact operations
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and end-users. The ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms
Project Management: Capability to manage ERP implementation projects, handle timelines, prioritize tasks, and coordinate with different teams to ensure successful system integration and upgrades
Training and Support: Ability to provide training sessions and user support to ensure smooth adoption of ERP system functionalities. Patience and clarity in guiding users through system changes or updates
Adaptability and Learning Agility: Willingness to adapt to evolving technologies, learn new features of the ERP system, and stay updated with industry trends and best practices
Attention to Detail: Precision in configuring ERP modules, data entry, and system testing to ensure accuracy and reliability of information within the ERP system
Collaboration and Teamwork: Capacity to work effectively in a team environment, collaborate with various departments, and foster positive relationships to achieve common goals related to the ERP system

Preferred

Bachelor's degree or certification in MIS, IT, business, finance, or data-related field preferred
1+ year of experience in managing or maintaining an ERP, WMS, CMS, or EDI
