Senior Accountant I

Qualification
Required
Three (3) or more years of progressive accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
Experience working with computerized accounting systems
Ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend solutions
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
Professional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to work effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds and abilities
BA/BS degree in Accounting or Business preferred and four (4) years of relevant work experience or six (6) years of direct work experience
Thorough knowledge of office practices and procedures and use of office machines, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Microsoft Excel and Word), and ability to learn new computer programs
Ability to work independently and as a team with co-workers
Ability to project a positive and professional image to the public, co-workers, and Didlake clients
Ability to interact effectively and supportively with people with disabilities
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
Experience supporting billing, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations in a multi-line or contract-based environment preferred
