SEC Reporting Analyst

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and review of SEC filings including: 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks
Proxy statements and earnings release content
Safe harbor disclosures and related exhibits
Coordinate cross-functional inputs from Accounting, Finance, Legal, and IR
Support drafting and assembly of financial statement footnotes, MD&A, and risk factor disclosures
Maintain filing schedules and deadlines for internal review and Board/Committee approvals
Assist in the preparation of XBRL tagging and coordination with external advisors or XBRL vendors
Participate in quarterly close and reporting processes to ensure data integrity and audit readiness
Respond to SEC comment letters and support management’s response strategy
Maintain working knowledge of evolving SEC rules and disclosure requirements
Help refine policies, checklists, and documentation to improve the reporting process

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3–7 years of experience in SEC reporting, public accounting, or financial reporting
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
Familiarity with XBRL tagging, EDGAR submissions, and Quarterly/Annual reporting workflows
Experience working with ERP systems and reporting tools (NetSuite, Workiva, or similar)
Excellent analytical and technical writing skills
Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally with legal and finance teams

Preferred

Experience in a public or pre-IPO environment strongly preferred
CPA or strong public accounting background highly desirable
