CAM Engineer
Summit Interconnect is a manufacturer of advanced technology printed circuit boards, focusing on complex rigid and rigid-flex products with expertise in RF/Microwave applications. They are seeking a CAM Engineer responsible for editing electronic data supplied by customers and ensuring it meets manufacturing specifications, along with creating panelization and modifying tooling as necessary.

Responsibilities
Accurately tool a job on company CAM system using Genesis software
Provide all NC data required for manufacturing
Generate data required by ET department
Review prints and purchase orders
Scale and output Drill programs and/or Rout programs upon request
Send scaled Artwork to plot upon request
Output LDI data
Generate tools for the shop floor per Summit standards and capabilities
Panelize the one up edited data into production panel and add coupons
Qualification
Required
Minimum of three (3) years in the printed circuit board industry
Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Proficient in rigid, flex, rigid/flex, and sequential lam designs
Ability to research and develop new CAM processes
Ability to perform job with little supervision
Ability to cooperate and communicate effectively with customers, management, and supervisory staff
Ability to effectively follow company systems and procedures
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of three (3) years' experience in the printed circuit industry with two (2) years as a CAM Engineer using Genesis software
Must be able to sit and or stand for long periods
Compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
