Minitab is a company that focuses on data analytics and statistical software, and they are seeking a Sales Operations Analyst Intern. The intern will provide support to the Sales Operations and Sales Leadership team in data management, technology/process support, and project management.

Responsibilities

Conduct data aggregation and analysis in support of strategic sales initiatives

Review, analyze, and clean data within Minitab’s CRM in support of ad hoc reporting and miscellaneous operational initiatives

Capture, develop, and document data definitions, business rules, and processes

Create and produce forecasts, reports, ad hoc requests, dashboards, etc

Interpret data, analyze results, and provide insights to determine operational impact, trends, and opportunities

Identify and define both process gaps and potential improvements

Produce reports that provide insight and guidance to management for sales strategy development and maximum sales efficiency

Stay current and review new features to identify further ways to leverage and optimize all the available features and capabilities to help benefit sales

Support the sales operations and planning functions in developing and improving sales processes, systems, and strategies

Assist with commission calculations, coordinating territory/region assignments, etc

Support sales planning, reporting, forecasting quota and management, sales process optimization, sales development, and territory planning

Work with Leadership to identify, document, and improve process bottlenecks and inconsistencies

Work with End Users to see how they are using the system to help them be more efficient and help develop ongoing education and training

Partner with Sales Enablement to ensure proper training is provided to the Global Sales Team for new processes and procedures

Support the Global Sales Operations Team with project and task management on an as-needed basis

Participate in special projects as directed by the Sales Operations Leadership

Participate in meetings, take meeting minutes, and learn!

Required

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Finance or closely related discipline or equivalent industry experience

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent project management and organizational skills

Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

Ability and initiative to work effectively both independently and on a team

Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language

MUST be available to work onsite at our Minitab Corporate Headquarters in State College, PA
