Responsibilities

Act as the senior decision-maker for platform reliability, incident response, and customer-impacting escalations during US hours, coordinating across SRE, Support, and Product

Lead engineering delivery for foundational components such as metering, usage insights, cross-cutting security initiatives, Data Hub features, and Cloudera Manager capabilities

Guide teams working on upgrades, compliance, operational readiness, and the long-term stability of hybrid deployments

Partner with global engineering leaders to uphold architectural, quality, and operational standards

Mentor engineers and emerging leaders, fostering a culture of ownership and technical rigor

Collaborate closely with EMEA leadership, including participating in early-morning alignment meetings
