Bridge Project Engineer
CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Bridge Project Engineer to join their Bridge Team in multiple locations in New York. The role involves leading the design, analysis, and delivery of innovative bridge and structural solutions while mentoring junior engineers and ensuring project efficiency.

Responsibilities
Provide advanced judgement and analysis techniques to complete complex bridge designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents
Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of projects with multidisciplinary engineering disciplines and project management staff
Monitor project progress and performance to ensure efficient production and minimize issues in vital infrastructure
Complete projects within budget and scheduling constraints, supporting sustainable and cost-effective solutions
Provide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staff
Lead impactful bridge projects that shape safer, stronger transportation networks
Mentor and inspire junior engineers dedicated to delivering sustainable solutions
Collaborate with talented professionals across multiple disciplines in a flexible work environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required
Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office
Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws
Proven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations
