Responsibilities

Provide support to multiple partners and associates while working under the guidance of a Paralegal Manager

Proofread and cite check all legal documents

Complete projects on time and accurately

E-filing in federal and state courts; and

Be willing and available to work overtime (as needed)

Required

3 years' minimum of relevant experience as a paralegal

Knowledge of Bluebook citation procedure and other rules outlined in Bluebook

Proofreading and editorial skills, and advanced grammar knowledge

Considerable knowledge of technical legal terminology

Considerable knowledge of legal processes and procedures

Microsoft Office 365 and Kofax Power PDF

Bloomberg, Westlaw, LexisNexis File & Serve, Pacer, Courtdrive, and electronic filing procedures (both federal and state)

Experience with SharePoint document management system

Bachelor's Degree, and

Graduation from an ABA-approved program of study for paralegals, or

Graduation from a course of study for paralegals which is institutionally accredited but not ABA approved, and which requires not less than the equivalent of 60 semester hours of classroom study
