Responsibilities
Collect, transport, and install sharps containers and medical waste containers throughout healthcare facilities
Handle hazardous and non-hazardous pharmaceutical waste in compliance with regulations
Ensure proper waste segregation, labeling, and tracking documentation
Maintain clean, organized work areas and accurate logs
Meet regulatory shipment windows and compliance standards
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste volume
Perform manual labor, including walking long distances throughout hospital campuses
Wear required PPE and follow all safety procedures
Immediately report unsafe conditions, incidents, or injuries
Follow EPA, OSHA, DOT, and ISO 14001/9001 requirements
Provide excellent customer service and use de-escalation skills when needed
Assist with additional tasks as assigned
Qualification

Reliability and physical stamina
Strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards
Ability to collect, transport, and install sharps containers and medical waste containers throughout healthcare facilities
