Responsibilities
Travel nationwide to perform Property Condition Assessments (PCAs) for commercial real estate properties
Perform design review and construction observation for new developments
Assist in business development efforts to expand our client base and build long-term relationships
Review various project deliverables as part of H&C’s QA/QC process to ensure quality and accuracy
Manage capital improvement projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
Collaborate with other members of H&C to deliver exceptional results for clients
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in engineering or architecture, preferably in a commercial real estate setting
Strong technical knowledge with a focus on property condition assessments, construction processes, and capital project management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present technical information to clients and stakeholders
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines
Preferred
Business development and client relationship experience is a plus
Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect (RA/AIA) license is preferred
