Track Engineer-Las Vegas
Sener is a global engineering and technology group with over 60 years of experience, seeking a Track Engineer for a full-time, hybrid position in Las Vegas, NV. The successful candidate will contribute to the design and construction of the Brightline West high-speed rail project, ensuring compliance with standards and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities
Contribute to the design of high-speed rail track systems (+300 km/h, +186 mph), from preliminary engineering through construction delivery, including track components design
Develop track component specifications and interface requirements with civil works, rail systems, and rolling stock
Coordinate with suppliers of track components and materials
Oversee track construction logistics, staging, and quality control
Ensure compliance with European rail standards (EN, TSI) and relevant US standards (AREMA, AASHTO, ASTM)
Prepare and review technical reports, design drawings, and construction documentation
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, structures, rail systems, operations) to ensure seamless project integration
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in rail track design
Strong technical writing, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience developing track components specifications, managing suppliers and designing track construction logistics
Understanding of technical feasibility, risk analysis, and mitigation strategies
Experience with relevant software, such as Office, CAD and BIM tools
Knowledge of Rail European Standards and US standards (AREMA, AASHTO, ASTM) and rail market
Preferred
Experience in High Speed Rail (+300 km/h, +186 mph) and Amtrak/Class I Railroads is a plus
CA and/or NV PE license preferred (or ability to obtain in the near term)
