Responsibilities
Develop detailed product and marketing plans for each product within the assigned product lines
Develop analytics to measure and report on product and market statistics and utilize those statistics to grow sales and profits
Work closely with Directors of Sourcing to ensure a competitive supply chain
Work closely with Sales team and manager of Pricing and Business Analytics to ensure market competitive pricing
Work with the director of marketing to help develop and optimize promotional, training and sales materials specific to assigned products and participate in or attend select trade shows
Track and report on the sales team’s project funnel managed with Microsoft Dynamics CRM to ensure continuous viable opportunities are cultivated and moved through the sales process
Establish and maintain significant relationships with key personnel responsible for making a supplier decision as well as with those who would influence a supplier change throughout an organization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and minimum and five to ten years of experience in product management and technical selling to major accounts
Must possess excellent organizational skills, exceptional calendar management, effective listening skills, high levels of presentation and negotiating skills, and be able to communicate effectively in writing and orally
Demonstrated success in product line management and the ability to understand and develop analytics-based strategies
Must possess the ability to design, develop, and write reports, proposals, and pricing requirements
Must have the ability and understanding to set sales plans, create forecasts, and forecast profit margin trends
Must possess extensive mechanical component product knowledge including manufacturing process for those components
Flexibility to travel up to 50%
Preferred
Experience and proficiency with Microsoft 365 Dynamics, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Power BI (or a comparable business intelligence and data visualization tool)
