Systems Engineering Technician
Akkodis is seeking a Systems Engineering Technician for a Contract with a client in Santa Clara, CA. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing data center and lab infrastructure to support high-volume testing and development workflows.

Responsibilities
Maintain and optimize data center and lab infrastructure, ensuring reliability and efficiency for high-volume testing environments
Assist in installation, configuration, and deployment of hardware and software components across Windows/Linux platforms
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on servers, networking equipment, and test boards to minimize downtime
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to implement new technologies, resolve technical issues, and support development workflows
Manage lab organization and safety standards, including documentation of maintenance activities and system configurations
Monitor and support DevOps pipelines, handling break-fix scenarios and ensuring smooth execution of automated tests
Qualification
Required
Associate or bachelor's degree in a technology-related field, or equivalent experience in lab/datacenter environments
Minimum 5 years of experience in data centers or large engineering labs
Proficiency in DCIM tools (e.g., Nautobot) and scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Ansible
Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux platforms, hardware components (PCBs, GPUs), and system deployments
