Responsibilities
Conduct thorough research to identify potential funding sources, including government agencies, foundations, and corporations
Develop and write clear, persuasive grant proposals that effectively communicate the goals and needs of our organization
Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary data and information for proposal development
Edit and proofread grant applications to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to guidelines
Manage the grant application process from start to finish, including tracking deadlines and submission requirements
Maintain organized databases of submitted proposals, funding opportunities, and outcomes
Assist in program development by providing insights on funding trends and best practices in grant writing
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of program development, contract management, and fundraising strategies
Experience in researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals
Ability to collaborate with various departments to gather information for proposals
Strong editing and proofreading skills to ensure clarity and accuracy in grant applications
Experience in managing the grant application process from start to finish
Ability to maintain organized databases of submitted proposals, funding opportunities, and outcomes
Insights on funding trends and best practices in grant writing
Ability to raise a minimum of $200k in FY26 and $400k in FY27
