Senior Director, Executive PMO & Integration
Alterra Mountain Company is a family of iconic year-round mountain destinations, and they are seeking a Senior Director of the Executive Program Management Office (EPMO) to lead a multi-year enterprise transformation. This role will oversee post-merger integrations and work closely with the Executive Leadership Team to ensure benefits are realized while building enduring capabilities.

Responsibilities
Stand up a durable EPMO that embeds data-driven tracking, benefit verification, and continuous improvement
Define the transformation ambition, outcomes, KPIs, and benefits profile; prioritize and sequence initiatives (incl. start/stop)
Establish methods and guardrails for organization key priorities
Develop and manage the key program intake and approval, including establishing stage gates, sign off on initiative charters, business cases, and roadmaps
Ensure cross-functional commitments and interdependencies are explicit and resourced
Lead the EPMO governance process and cadence
Manage regular individual workstream meetings
Chair weekly cross-functional reviews
Prepare ELT and Board decisions
Escalate and clear roadblocks fast
Identify and develop mitigation plans for risks to key priority programs
Manage risks and issues through ensuring clear ownership, dates, and plans
Identify and manage interdependencies across key priority programs
Working with FP&A, accountable for tracking benefits delivery into the P&L
Lead continuous improvement process for key company priorities
Monitor and report on synergy capture, cost savings realization, and revenue enhancement initiatives
Oversee case-for-change narrative and integrated comms
Monitor readiness and adoption
Lead the development of Board of Directors and Executive Team presentation materials, translating complex strategic, financial, and operational analyses into clear, decision-ready narratives
Own the end-to-end quarterly Board Meeting preparation process, including storyline development, analytical rigor, visual polish, iteration management, and final quality control
Partner closely with the CEO, CFO, and Executive Team to synthesize key issues, frame trade-offs, and highlight risks, opportunities, and recommended actions
Ensure materials are fact-based, internally consistent, and aligned with enterprise strategy, value-creation priorities, and transformation milestones
Serve as a strategic thought partner in preparing executives for Board discussions, including pre-reads, talking points, FAQs, and follow-ups
Lead and execute comprehensive integration strategies aligned with deal objectives and value creation thesis
Lead pre-close planning activities, including synergy identification, risk assessment, and Day 1 readiness preparation
Create detailed integration roadmaps with clear milestones, dependencies, and success metrics across functional areas
Establish integration governance structures, decision-making frameworks, and escalation protocols
Lead cross-functional integration teams across Finance, Operations, HR, IT, Legal, Sales, and other key departments
Serve as primary point of contact between executive leadership, integration teams, and external stakeholders
Drive day-to-day execution of integration activities, tracking progress against key milestones and addressing roadblocks
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
12+ years of progressive experience in corporate strategy, enterprise PMO, transformation office, value creation plan support, M&A integration
Experience leading enterprise-wide transformation management from design through measurable benefits in a complex, multi-site organization
Demonstrated ownership of managing enterprise-level strategy development, defining strategic roadmaps, PMO, and post-merger integration
Experienced in travel & leisure (resorts/hospitality/attractions), managing multi-site and seasonal complexity, with a track record of quantified gains in guest experience and profitability
Demonstrated ownership of value realization (business cases, target setting, benefit tracking, P&L impact)
Proven experience developing and delivering Board and Executive-level materials with clarity, precision, and impact
Strong business and financial acumen, analytical skills, and ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
Creates productive tension and unlocks decisions while maintaining trust and alignment
Bias to action; removes process and mindset roadblocks quickly
Outstanding communication and stakeholder management; able to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences
People leadership that inspires, coaches, and builds capabilities through change
Ability to work with and align internal & external stakeholders towards achieving desired outcomes
Data-driven, disciplined approach to tracking, risk management, and issue resolution
Travel will be required for this position approximately 30% of the year in the U.S. and Canada
Valid Passport required
Bachelor's degree required
Undergraduate degree or coursework in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
Extensive experience with quantitative modeling required
