Responsibilities

Review necessary surveys; compare property descriptions on title commitments to surveys, purchase agreements, and other legal documents to ascertain their accuracy and completeness

Perform all processing on escrow files to ensure the company can meet the customer's closing deadlines and provide title insurance on the transactions

Log all specific file information and track the status of the file's documentation within the company's electronic filing system

Provide proactive communication with customers to foster a seamless transaction as well as a long-term business relationship with customers

Processes escrow files to ensure the company can meet the customer's closing deadlines and provide title insurance on the transactions

Coordinate closings times and dates with all parties involved in transaction

Monitor, answer, and/or direct customer service emails and calls

Reliable Transportation

Regular and physical attendance at the workplace location

The Personal Closing Representative may be assigned additional tasks in support of the department's goals

Required

Proficient in Microsoft Office, email programs, and other web-based programs

Ability to type a minimum of 50 wpm accurately

Dependable and reliable

Michigan Producer's Licenses

Valid Drivers License

A minimum of one year of experience in the real estate/ lending or banking industry is preferred but not required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
