Responsibilities

Define scope, roles, and responsibilities, and develop comprehensive project plans including cost, schedule, and risk assessments

Write and manage Capital Appropriation Requests (CARs), develop project budgets, create savings analyses, and provide alternatives for continuous improvement

Manage projects from initial design through installation and start-up, working closely with internal teams, contractors, and external vendors

Actively engage with plant management and production teams to solve complex technical challenges and implement high-value solutions

Partner with Maintenance to establish preventative maintenance and spare parts programs, ensuring ongoing production reliability

Required

5+ years of experience in Mechanical, Project, or Manufacturing Engineering—preferably in food or beverage manufacturing

Project Management Expertise: organized, methodical, and know how to keep projects on time and within budget, leveraging experience with construction management and coordination of third-party contractors

Safety-Focused: emphasize safety in everything with working knowledge of food safety standards including U.S.D.A. and hygienic design for manufacturing

Continuous Learner: strong interest in mastering new mechanical and electrical technologies and a commitment to staying ahead of industry trends

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be a collaborative partner
