Dresser Utility Solutions is seeking a Process Engineer Intern to join their team. The Process Engineering Intern will perform engineering assignments designed to develop process engineering knowledge and experience associated with designing equipment, components, structures, or systems.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain process documentation (including organization SOPs, manufacturing work instructions, PFMEAs, process flow charts, training guides/documents)
Times and movements analysis/improvements
Track metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor implemented upgrades
Recommend and implement improvements and/or modifications to existing process documents
Recommend design modifications or process changes where justifiable by cost/design studies
Recommend and implement Improvements to existing tools fixtures
Communicate findings and proposals to manager
Provides thorough instructions for successful implementation of process changes
Perform other duties as required by Management
Collaborate with other functions, as required

Qualification

ISO 9001 StandardLean ManufacturingMicrosoft Office SuiteEngineering disciplinePrioritization skillsMicrosoft TeamsDecision makingProblem-solvingOrganization skills

Required

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in an Engineering discipline
Minimum GPA requirement of 3.2
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, SharePoint, Outlook)
Excellent decision making and Problem-solving skills
Strong Organization and Prioritization skills

Preferred

Working knowledge of the ISO 9001 Standard and knowledge of other QMS standards
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
Microsoft Teams knowledge is a plus
