Director, Therapeutic After School Program (TASP)

Walker Therapeutic & Educational Programs is seeking a dynamic and mission-driven behavioral health leader to serve as the Director of their Therapeutic After School Program (TASP). The role involves leading a multidisciplinary team, overseeing program operations, and implementing innovative therapeutic practices to support youth mental health.

Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and direct care staff
Oversee scheduling, logistics, and day‑to‑day operations to ensure high‑quality service delivery
Support the implementation of trauma‑informed care, CBT, and behavior management models
Collaborate with families, schools, and external providers to create coordinated support systems
Provide direct care, consultation, and oversight of program services
Monitor outcomes and use data to drive continuous quality improvement
Participate in leadership committees and training initiatives that influence agency‑wide practice

Required

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field
Valid Massachusetts driver's license
Strong communication, organizational, and supervisory skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
3+ years of work experience in youth-focused therapeutic settings
2+ years of work experience in management of youth-focused therapeutic settings

Preferred

Independent clinical license (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent)
5+ years of clinical and/or managerial experience in youth‑focused therapeutic settings
Experience supporting program operations, staff supervision, or program growth
Familiarity with clinical documentation, data systems, and outcome tracking
