Responsibilities
Perform residential HVAC installs, service, and maintenance
Lead complex installs and service calls
Act as technical lead and mentor for technicians
Ensure quality control and adherence to company standards
Reduce callbacks and rework
Support dispatch, scheduling, and daily job flow
Track and improve key performance metrics
Help document SOPs, install standards, and checklists
Communicate daily with ownership on operations and field performance
Manage day-to-day operations (technicians, CSRs, dispatch)
Balance field work with operational leadership
Own and improve KPIs:
Revenue per job
Average ticket
Callback rate
Install quality and cycle time
Use and help optimize ServiceTitan for scheduling, reporting, and performance tracking
Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training
Help reduce owner involvement in daily operations
Qualification
Required
5+ years residential HVAC install and service experience
Comfortable leading installs and complex service calls
Strong leadership and communication skills
Willing to be hands-on while managing operations
Organized, accountable, and coachable
Comfortable working in a startup environment
Must hold a valid North Carolina HVAC contractor license
Preferred
Lead tech or supervisory experience
Experience with Service Titan
Interest in long-term leadership and ownership
