The role involves supporting general accounting functions with a focus on billing, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities, while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.

Responsibilities
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts
Sync customer invoices and payments between ConnectWise and QuickBooks
Support customer agreement setup and maintenance in ConnectWise
Preparing invoices through ConnectWise based on billing cycle
Monthly reconciliation of bank statements and credit card statements
Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and discrepancies
Reconcile vendor and customer statements
Conduct follow-ups on overdue invoices and manage collection activities
Follow-up, collection, and allocation of payments
Collaborate with Procurement team for cross-functional coverage
Maintain customer financial information and status in ConnectWise
Respond to customer billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies
File, organize, and maintain accounting documentation
Understand processes in ConnectWise by completing assigned training materials in ConnectWise University
Perform other accounting activities as required
Qualification
Required
Mastery of general office applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel (manipulating large data, pivot tables)
Experience with QuickBooks
Strong knowledge of general ledger and accounts receivable functions
Quick learner with passion for numbers, problem-solving, and mastering new skills/software
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
Associate degree or bachelor's in accounting, finance, or related field
2+ years in accounting or finance-related role
Preferred
Experience with ConnectWise
Prior work with service-based billing or IT services a plus
Familiarity with time tracking and agreement-based invoicing
