Responsibilities
Your focus will be on legal research and drafting in the areas of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), business and corporate law, contract law, entertainment law, trademark law, and copyright law
You will work remotely with complete flexibility in your schedule, with the option to collaborate in-office when desired
Qualification
Required
Current member of the State Bar of Michigan
Exceptional legal research and writing skills, with proven ability to produce high-quality work under minimal supervision
Expert-level proficiency in AI-assisted legal research and writing
Expert-level proficiency with macOS (we operate exclusively on Apple hardware)
Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience in, or strong interest in, business, contract, entertainment, trademark, and copyright law
Entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivated, adaptable, and proactive in solving complex problems
Preferred
Proficiency in Zoho CRM, Contracts, Mail, Sign, and WorkDrive
Access to LexisNexis or Westlaw, including Michigan and related federal practice guides, Practical Guidance/Practical Law, form libraries, public records databases, and other legal research resources
