Responsibilities

Manage and mentor IAM analysts, engineers, and support staff

Oversee the design, implementation, and management of IAM policies, standards, and procedures

Manage identity lifecycle processes, including user provisioning, de-provisioning, role-based access, and access reviews

Lead and maintain IAM technologies and tools (e.g., SSO, MFA, PAM, IGA platforms)

Conduct regular audits, access certifications, and risk assessments to validate proper access controls

Lead IAM-related projects, upgrades, and integrations across the organization

Develop and enforce IAM best practices, standards, and architectural roadmaps

Continuously evaluate and improve IAM processes to enhance security and user experience

Partner with business units to define access roles and ensure least-privilege access is consistently applied

Monitor IAM systems for performance, security issues, and emerging threats; coordinate incident response related to identity breaches

Required

Demonstrated success and a proven track record of professional/life experience in specific job functions, projects, industries or military service can substitute for professional experience and/or formal education requirements

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field

5+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management or related IT security domains

2+ years of experience in a leadership, supervisory, or team management role

Experience supporting IAM integrations with cloud platforms such as Azure AD, AWS IAM, or Google Cloud IAM

Experience with enterprise IAM platforms (e.g., Saviynt, SailPoint, Okta, ForgeRock, CyberArk)

Proven experience implementing and managing IAM frameworks, identity lifecycle processes, and access governance controls

Demonstrated success leading IAM projects, system upgrades, or enterprise-wide access initiatives

Preferred

Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field

Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC, or Microsoft/AWS security certifications

Background in cloud security architecture and Zero Trust security models

Knowledge of automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to enhance identity workflows

Familiarity with identity federation, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and API-based integrations
