Responsibilities
Co-ops work on real projects with direct impact to the business
Work in collaboration with teams across the world, spanning many technologies
Immediately involved in business critical situations and are challenged to achieve their goals
Work on cutting-edge technology and bring solutions and ideas to life
Opportunity to rotate between team programs based on student’s interest, skillset, and Samtec need
Gain knowledge in multiple security tools including Anti-Virus, Vulnerability Management, Security Awareness Training, and overall Security Operations
Start off on the Technical Support team before being awarded the opportunity to be on the Cyber Security team
Work in challenging and advanced areas where AI/ML, data science, infrastructure systems, and software development meet key areas of manufacturing, engineering, and R&D
Ensure available, accurate, and actionable information for proactive business decisions as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst or Data Engineer
Build and support applications that power the entire Samtec enterprise including sales, manufacturing, marketing, operations, and supply chain software
Roles include product owner, software engineer, and UCD designer
Serve as a conduit between everyday users and system admins/ engineers in Technical Support
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related program at the University of Louisville
Ability to work collaboratively with teams across the world
Interest in working on cutting-edge technology
Willingness to rotate between team programs based on interest and skillset
Desire to gain knowledge in multiple security tools including Anti-Virus, Vulnerability Management, and Security Awareness Training
Ability to work in advanced areas where AI/ML, data science, infrastructure systems, and software development intersect
Interest in roles such as Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Data Engineer, product owner, software engineer, and UCD designer
Strong foundation of IT principles and experience in technical support
