TO FOSTERING AN EMOTIONALLY INTELLIGENT WORK ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH OUR ATTORNEYS CAN HAVE A ROLE IN DETERMINING WHETHER OR NOT THEY WORK FROM HOME OR THE OFFICE
The attorney position is based at the firm’s headquarters in Union, NJ though the firm also maintains offices with active practices in Manhattan, Philadelphia and Dallas
The firm offers work-from-home, hybrid and in-person arrangements in an effort to suit the needs of our attorneys
While admittedly much of current legal practice has become virtual, our attorneys must also be able to attend, for example, in-person court appearances, depositions, meetings and otherwise perform the work of an in-person commercial legal practice as defined by the needs of our clients and law firm
The firm is committed to mentoring new associates in a collaborative and multi-layered manner respecting relatively all significant aspects of commercial practice
Entering associates will typically be provided with a 2-4 week intensive training program overseen by our managing attorney
The purpose is to steep our new attorneys in a wide latitude of topics so they will be ready to take on complex matters that will be challenging for them
Qualification
Required
JD Degree from an ABA accredited law school
admission to the New Jersey bar
relevant commercial law experience in either litigation or transactional matters (or both)
outstanding academic credentials
Preferred
judicial clerkship (preferred, but not required)
admission to the New York and/or Pennsylvania bar preferred but not required
