Paid Media Manager - Ecommerce

Responsibilities
Own end-to-end execution and strategy for Amazon Ads, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP exposure strongly preferred
Build, launch, optimize, and scale campaigns directly — this is a hands-on execution role
Manage budgets to optimize ROAS, TACoS, contribution margin, and incremental sales
Develop and maintain scalable campaign structures that can be supported by a VA over time
Lead keyword research, search term mining, competitive conquesting, and bid optimization
Leverage Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) to: Measure incrementality and path-to-purchase behavior
Inform full-funnel strategy and audience development
Support budgeting, forecasting, and investment decisions
Translate complex AMC insights into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership
Support paid media across both Vendor Central (1P) and Seller Central (3P) environments
Understand and optimize around differences in: Retail vs marketplace economics
Inventory ownership, WOS, and availability
Promotions, pricing, and fulfillment models
Partner closely with internal stakeholders on inventory planning, assortment, and launches
Support paid traffic across additional e-commerce channels as applicable (e.g., DTC, retail media networks)
Ensure paid media strategies are aligned across platforms and contribute to total business growth
Own performance reporting across paid media, including: Spend, revenue, ROAS, TACoS, CVR, CPC, NTB, and incrementality
Provide clear performance narratives and forward-looking insights to leadership
Support annual planning and budget development, including growth targets
Help onboard, train, and manage a VA or junior support resource to scale execution
Build SOPs, testing frameworks, and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency
Qualification
Required
4–7+ years of hands-on Amazon advertising experience
Proven success managing both 1P and 3P Amazon Ads accounts
Strong working knowledge of Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC)
Demonstrated ability to execute campaigns directly while owning strategy
Experience managing six- to seven-figure annual Amazon Ads budgets
Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate insights clearly
Background in CPG, hardlines, or branded consumer goods
Experience scaling paid media through processes, automation, or offshore/VA support
Familiarity with third-party Amazon tools and analytics platforms
Preferred
Experience with Amazon DSP
