This hands-on role involves coordinating order entry, shipment flow, and inventory control while maintaining communication between various teams on the warehouse floor.

Responsibilities
Coordinate order entry and shipment flow between office/sales teams and warehouse staff
Enter and manage orders as needed
Coordinate shipments within the WMS system
Ensure all orders are packed and shipped according to customer specifications and guidelines
Schedule trucks for outgoing domestic shipments
Coordinate booking with forwarders for all overseas shipments
Arrange truck schedules to maximize inbound and outbound capacity
Coordinate vendor pickups and inbound freight schedules
Work to consolidate shipments and improve efficiency on each truck run
Review customer claims related to outbound shipments
Verify discrepancies using photos, shipping documentation, and inventory counts
Coordinate internally to resolve issues and prevent repeat errors
Perform spot checks on inventory directly on the warehouse floor
Assist with identifying discrepancies and damaged goods
Update inventory records and move items to damaged warehouse locations as required
Support accurate inventory visibility for open and backordered orders
Serve as second-in-command to the Warehouse Manager
Maintain clear communication between receiving, shipping, and order processing
Be visible and engaged on the warehouse floor throughout the day
Step in as needed to support shipping, receiving, and workflow accuracy
Qualification
Required
Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, order processing, or distribution
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Experience with WMS and ERP systems
Proficient with Excel
Strong communication and organizational skills
