The role involves assisting in surveying, construction, inspection, and material sampling, as well as preparing construction reports and supporting survey parties with equipment usage.

Responsibilities
Assists in the areas of surveying, construction, inspection and/or material sampling and testing
Assists roadway inspectors in the inspection of roadway construction, including areas of asphalt paving, earthwork, base, drainage operations, and concrete placement operations
Aids with office duties, preparing construction reports and daily work reports in Site Manager, assists with reconciling quantities to close out projects
Assists survey parties, uses surveying equipment correctly to measure elevation, distance, and set vertical and horizontal controls
Qualification
Required
A high school diploma; or an approved acceptable equivalence
Applicants must be accepted into or currently enrolled in a two-year college or university program in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Science and Management
