Director, Strategic Partnerships
MASA is a leader in emergency medical transportation insurance dedicated to protecting families with compassion. As the Director of Strategic Partnerships, you will manage key relationships and lead negotiations with air ambulance providers and insurers to ensure financial strength and operational reliability.

Responsibilities
Leading senior-level commercial discussions and negotiations with air ambulance providers to establish competitive, sustainable rate structures and service commitments
Managing and strengthening strategic partnerships with private insurers and regional healthcare stakeholders
Owning partner economics while ensuring agreements support reliable, compliant, and high-quality service delivery
Analyzing claims activity, utilization trends, and financial drivers to inform renewal strategies and long-term partnership decisions
Collaborating with underwriting, claims, and transport teams to align negotiated terms with pricing strategy, portfolio risk expectations, and operational realities
Identifying opportunities to improve partnership efficiency, structure, and long-term value
Communicating partnership strategy, risks, and outcomes clearly to executive leadership
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in healthcare contracting, insurance negotiation, business development, or related commercial roles
Demonstrated success managing complex partnerships and leading rate or contract negotiations
Strong analytical capability, with the ability to interpret claims data, pricing models, and utilization patterns
Proven ability to influence, collaborate, and build trust across cross-functional teams and external partners
Comfort working independently in a remote, regionally distributed environment
Willingness to travel across the Caribbean region (up to 25%)
Preferred
Experience working with health insurers, government health schemes, or air medical transport providers
