6+ years expMindlance is seeking a ServiceNow CSDM and CMDB Engineer to join their IT Asset Management team. This role will focus on modernizing the management of the configuration management database and ensuring data quality and operational controls around IT Asset Management.

Responsibilities
Drive Configuration Management Database (CMDB) data quality and coverage efforts
Handle the modernization of the ITAM process that builds on an industry standard platform, to gain more insights into relationships and life cycle management, that more effectively help handle risk
Collaborate with all engineering teams ensuring they are aware of ITAM capabilities and their responsibilities for their data in the CMDB
Align with process, operations, and those responsible for life cycle management of their components to ensure completeness and alignment with upstream and downstream impacts
Establish and maintain documentation of policies, procedures, job aids, and reports
Ensure process efficiency by implementing the key performance indicators; suggest improvements to the process continuously
Involvement in audit and regulatory reviews
Maintain strong operational controls around ITAM
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 6 years of related experience
Strong knowledge of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and its application in the IT Asset Management space
Knowledge of ServiceNow navigation and the various tables that make up the CMDB
Strong communication skills and ability to meet with clients, present to senior management and provide updates to regulators / supervisors
Ability to work across teams to create partnerships that achieve organization goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
Strong critical thinking, communication and collaboration skills are key to be successful in this role
Minimum of 6 years of related experience, including IT delivery, operations, service management and/or support
Consistent track record of implementing and/or transforming ITAM functions
Deep understanding of IT Asset Management principles, configuration management, and ITIL standard methodologies
Strong analytical skills to support independent and effective decisions
Experience initiating Continuous Improvement Projects
Solid business and data analysis skills to drive CMDB analytics
Experience in building ServiceNow Dashboard
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Familiarity with Agile methodology
Familiarity with Infrastructure design standards for modular, secure, and resilient applications to drive root cause analysis across the breadth of the enterprise
